There are some problems that can happen when you try to feed your betta fish with live food though. For starters, feeding them with live food may make them sick or cause them to have some diseases if the live food is contaminated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is because the bacteria in their gut will grow so fast that it can kill off the beneficial bacteria. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
So, you will end up with sick fish that can’t get any better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is why some people don’t feed their fish with live foods. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
